Granny Squares

I got to crochet a lot this past weekend and decided to try and count the squares to see how many I had.

Then I rested them out on my postage stamp quilt coat to see how many more I need to make.

I'm getting there, bit by bit.

I need to find a granny square coat pattern. Have you ever seen one?

I did not make the quilted jacket. Isn't it amazing? The WHOLE quilt was hand sewn....from the piecing to the quilting. Some of the squares are from meal sacks. I feel happy and warm whenever I have it on. Beth

Marcia, I wear this coat all the time in this kind of weather. It doesn't have any buttons, so I have to hold it closed, but somehow that makes it seem even more like being wrapped up in a cozy blanket. love, Beth
