Snowy Sunset

Before Christmas, we walked into the snowy sunset. The cold tingled in our noses. The river gleamed.

Each branch stood out individually, and the snow took on a blue glow.

The slivered moon floated above the treetops.

The house glowed.

Deepest winter is here. With joy and gratitude we withdraw into the light and warmth of home.

Happy New Year!

Welcome back... we've missed you! Hope you had a wonderfully special time with your family.
I gaze wistfully at all of that snow (you wouldn't know it's winter here in Cal). It's so romantic to me.
Blessings and magic.
