paper

I have been spending some peaceful hours cutting and collaging color-aid paper at a table in my studio,

making irises,

a goldfish with a freedom-wish,

daffodils,

and a dala horse, (this one also has some gouache paint for details.)

I put these collages in my etsy shop.

Those are beautiful. They remind me a lot of Lois Ehlert's artwork.

Wow! I looked up the Color-aid paper and it was soooo expensive. It really is worth that much? I mean, your works of art are really beautiful, but do you feel you couldn't have made it without this paper? Tell me more about it.

Oh I LOVE THESE!!! YOU are a magical "Scissorhands."
I especially love the goldfish with the freedom wish.

You need to do a book using all cut outs.

(That sounds like ME preaching at YOU).

Those are great! I just made a "garden" out of construction paper for my little one (only 14 months old!) and taped it to the wall. I'll have to make a few "potted" plants like yours...their so gorgeous!
