I Send You Sunshine

I send you sunshine today, from a wild place with wind, white sand, waves, and sparkles of light.

The early spring sun throws strong shadows. It's the cure we needed after weeks of rain.

My boy, who can make a toy out of anything, tries to float seashells.

Mussel shells float pretty well if you launch them carefully. Do you see all those little mussel shell boats floating away in the picture below?

I send you sunshine today! Doesn't it feel good?

Thanks for sending me sunshine, I received it, in the form of a wave of salty, fresh, sandy sea breeze. Cheers Marie

Mmmm, it feels good. Thank you. Rain is forecasted all week for us, but it's the first rain and it will wash everything clean. Winter is almost over.

What a gorgeous day. Such a fickle time of year, we sure don't take advantage of the nice days....because you never know what's around the corner. What a beautiful beach!

For sure that creative boy is YOUR son!
Greetings from another coast line, ours is called "Shonan". Love the ocean in winter.

Oh, your sunshine feels marvelous! I love spending time with you seeing what you and your family are up to. You always have so many nice things to share. How nice that your son is able to play with what he finds. Nature provides it all doesn't it? This makes me want to take a walk to our ocean too, although our beach is fairly covered with snow.
Hugs from Emily xoxo

Oh... Beth ...thank you for the sunshine!I am so glad some warmth has come to us here in New England ... Natalie and I spent an entire Sunday out of doors feeling the warmth of a new Spring sun and searching out any signs of Spring...
