We have a few more weeks and hopefully the flavor will be awesome, but with all of the rain we're receiving they may be watery. Sun, sun!!
But then we will have a few from our small patch in the garden and then lots more for jamming and freezing and tasting from a small selection of farms to U-pick within 10 minutes of home!!
Lovely Beth- You are such a wonderful photographer. I always enjoy coming to your posts. Those strawberries look so juicy; mine have not even blossomed yet. Take care.
My Opa in Germany grew acres of strawberries commercially, and we ate ourselves sick on fresh strawberries, strawberry cake and strawberry jam. There is nothing that says "summer" like the taste of strawberries!
I think this was the tastiest post ever and my mouth is really watering thinking about those fresh, juicy berries out there in the warm sun and how sweet they are! Enjoy the summer harvest!
