I can't wait to wear these colors. It is a joy to work with them. I like making progress in these small increments. I can complete a little pile of them in a sitting, watching the Bay from my adirondack chair on the porch, cuddled on the sofa next to my husband when he is working on his computer at night, or sitting on a brick wall on the playground after school. I love to experiment with colors. Most of them look wonderful together, in every combination. And each square feels like a little creation of its own. I am a knitter, and I do love to knit, but this seems even more fun. When I knit for an hour I have more rows on my work. When I crochet, I have a handful of little abstract pieces of art. Crochet Coat

I can never seen to get past chain stitch. I just seem to make knots...LOL :)

My high school boyfriend's mother, taught me how to do granny squares and they are my favorites to this day. I made an afghan for my son, that is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, with black trim that is quite lovely. Now I just have to connect the squares!

Hi Beth, I like doing crochet. I never got on with knitting. talk about watching paint dry! and it was so tight the needles squawked!
Crochet goes faster. I usually do granny squares, too.
Do you have any bright ideas about joining up the squares? I have tried different ways, but would love to hear what you think is best.
