It will be Friday from 5-9, Saturday from 12-7, and Sunday from 12-6. Children are welcome. I even have a few toys in there. I will be doing some lino-printing this weekend, and hand-coloring the prints with watercolor. The prints are part of my new series of children at play, and I am having the most wonderful time making them. You will also be able to see my two series of large artist's colored pencil drawings, The Thayer Street Project, (a drawing project about teens on the lively commercial street near Brown University,) and Disguises, (a series of drawings of children wearing costumes.) This will probably be my last open house for a while, so I hope you can join me.
The print pictured above is called "The Child Alone." I made it in honor of Adoption Rhode Island, a wonderful organization which works with foster children in our state who are awaiting adoption.
