I haven't been on Acorn Pies much recently because I have been having problems with blogger. But I'm back! Come back soon to see the finished crazy quilt, (yes, it's done!) a post about stripy hand knit hats, and a visit to a horse barn and an Amish farmer's market. See you soon! love, Beth

I love this idea! I have a lot of little white ones popping up right now...maybe I will put a few in a pot today!
Dear Ferne,
That sounds great! I am cleaning the yard up today and found some volunteer annual viola, too! I think I will also bring them in. love, Beth
Shanti, I love violets, too, their delicate scent, their sweet faces....mmmmm, I can't wait to hold a little bouquet in my hands. Beth
I love this post so much. I remember fondly the violets growing outside in our yard as a kid. I think I'm going to need to plant some this year.
