I wish you a Happy Halloween with scherenschnitte, a wonderful traditional Swiss craft from the German part of Switzerland. My little boy and I designed this one, but if you want to see some scherenschnitte by an accomplished comtemporary paper cutter, look at this blog site... http://papercutting.blogspot.com/ For traditional scherenschnitte by a contemporary artist, see http://main.nc.us/openstudio/MHGrabman/

Dear Beth - that is both mystical and magical. Beautifully designed and made. Hope your young son enjoys his first Swiss Halloween.

You're real artists!!!Happy Halloween!
It was fun to try....but it's hard. I'm amazed at the intricate paper cuttings I have seen in a book I got about traditional paper cutting. Beth
Wow! I love this! I think my 13 year old son would do a good job trying out this art form. I will show this to him after school today...maybe he can make a scene for Thanksgiving!
