The Great Towel Mix-Up

It used to be hard to keep all the white towels straight in the bathroom we all share at the cottage on Cape Cod, even more so when we had guests.  (In our house, having towels of different colors didn't work.  They kept getting bleach spots.)  Last summer I sewed on these gorgeous fabric strips.  No more mix-ups, (at least not that I know of.....)

Very pretty! I wanted to keep the all white vibe in my bathroom so stitched on a different button in one corner of each towel.

Hi, Lucy! I love the button idea, too!

Beth, I love the fabric you chose to sew on your towels. I've also thought about doing this, but sewing the person's first initial of their names...like an applique. I haven't done it yet, but one day I will. Thanks for the inspiration!

I like it, Bonnie. I had free monogramming on a set of towels, once, and put different seaside words on them, which covered guests, too. Beth

This is a nice idea and so pretty. I'm not sure that a white towel would stay white around here for long though :)Maybe some cheery yellow ones. Take care.
